Sumi-e ( Chinese-Ink Drawings ) |
| Sumi-e(Chinese-ink drawing) is also called
Suibokuga(
literally“water-ink painting”). Sumie is
originally monochrome painting, characterized by the use of black-ink,
which is ground on an ink-stone and diluted with water, then drawn with
brushes to paper.
